BMW 5 Series
In 2014, our spy photographers managed to catch the next-generation BMW on the Nurburgring track. Later that year, the next was caught once again, when the sedan in Europe. Come 2016, the new 5 Series is still and most details about the production car are still being kept in the vault. However, new spy shots of the more aggressive, M Sport Package model arrived in our mail hinting that BMW is working on several versions of the midsize.
As seen with recently launched next-gen Bimmers, the next 5 Series will lose some weight, thanks to the use of the next-generation CFRP technology, as well as feature an exterior design inspired by the , and an interior stuffed with tons of safety gizmos. What I do know for a fact is that the next 5 Series will break cover sometime in 2016 for the 2017 model year, and that the engine lineup will include anything from four-bangers to V-8s, and possibly even a three-cylinder unit. Updated 04/04/2016: Our spy photographers caught the upcoming 5 Series out for a new testing session, and for the first time the prototype reveals most of its revised front bumper. Also, for the first time we got a first look of the car’s revised interior.
